Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

How this site is built

This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means:

  • Every page can be used with a keyboard alone.
  • Focus is always visible as you tab through the page.
  • Text and background colours have been chosen to keep contrast high, including the cream text on the dark timber panels.
  • Images carry descriptions, and decorative textures carry none.
  • Form fields have real labels, and errors are described in words and linked to the field they belong to.
  • Animation is kept small and switches off entirely if your device is set to reduce motion.
  • Buttons and links are large enough to tap comfortably.

Known limitations

Some of the photographs supplied to us carry text as part of the image. Where that happens, the same words are also set in real text on the page, so nothing is available only inside a picture.

The club building itself is a separate matter from this website. We haven’t published details of step-free access, parking or facilities because we don’t want to state something that turns out to be wrong — please ring us and ask, and we’ll tell you exactly what to expect.

Telling us about a problem

If something on this site is hard to use, we’d genuinely like to know. Ring the club on 01580 880673 or email info@therobertsbridgeclub.co.uk and we’ll do what we can to put it right.
